BasilMarket is ready for launch
We're live. After a solid stretch of building, BasilMarket is ready for launch and open to everyone. Here's what's waiting for you.
Accounts and verification
Verify however you like now. Link Discord, or set up an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, whatever you use) from your profile under Security. The authenticator also adds a code at login if you want the extra security, and it means you don't need Discord to get verified. Once you're verified you can post, trade, vote, and message.
Friends and messages
Add friends straight from anyone's profile, and they can accept or ignore the request. Messages is a full inbox now, your conversations on one side and the open chat on the other, with tabs for friends and pending requests. The quick popup chat is still around if you just want to fire off a fast reply.
Discord notifications
Link your Discord and you'll get a ping when your item sells, when you win an auction, when you get outbid, or when one's about to close. They come through as clean embeds with the item icon, and you can turn any of them off under Notifications in your profile. Everything shows on site too, so you won't miss anything either way.
Quests
The full quest list is in the Library. All 322, sorted by region, with the story, the NPC, what you need to do, the rewards, and the chains linked so you can follow a line from start to finish. Browse quests
Crafting
Every recipe across the six disciplines: Smithing, Weaponcrafting, Tailoring, Woodcrafting, Leatherworking, and Arcforge. Each one shows the level, meso cost, exp, and exactly what you need to make it. Browse crafting
Map explorer
Pull up any map by its minimap, then click the portals to move around the world. Monsters and NPCs are listed on each map, and monster pages link straight to where they spawn. Explore the maps
Character avatars
Dress up your character in the customizer, hair and eye colors included, and it shows up next to your name around the site.
Homepage and market
Fresh homepage with a search and a panel showing what's hot on the market and what's ending soon, plus the Buy, Sell, and Auction market with trader ratings and price history.
